Hudson Valley Casting Call For Newburgh/Beacon Area

An open casting call via the Hudson Valley Film Commission seeks actors and actresses for work beginning Monday of this week.

The shoot is a PSA for UN Environment and the goal is to discourage the spread of single-use plastics. Yes, they're talking to you Keurig users. The filming will be happening Monday through Wednesday of this week and each scene is a 2-3 hour commitment.

Their needs are specific, they're looking for:

• Females between the age of 20 and 30. Must be comfortable playing soccer but don't have to be a professional.
• Indian males and females of any age. You must have traditional Indian clothing to be considered.
• Males/females of any age for a cafe scene.
• Female African-American between the age of 20 and 30 for a barista character. Experience not required.
• Male between the age of 30 and 40.
