Hudson Valley Cookie Festival in Millerton

Cookie Festival? Really? Where is it? Can we eat cookies?

The Millerton Cookie Festival will take place on Saturday March 19, 2016 from 10AM to 6PM. The idea behind the festivals is to enjoy what is hopefully the end of winter and get people to come out and visit Millerton.

Businesses in the town will have trays of cookies to give out to those stopping in their stores that day. If you are a Millerton business and want to participate, contact Oblong Books & Music on Main Street in Millerton.

If food festivals are something that you are into, here are a few to remember to check out this year:

• Hudson Valley Foodtrucks are at Cantine Field in Saugerties on the third Thursday of the month May through October from 3:30PM to 9:30PM.
• Hyde Park Food Truck Festival Route 9 and Market Street, the first Sunday of the Month June through October, Noon to 7PM
• Gardiner Cupcake Festival, May 14, Noon to 6PM
