Icee Adam, Southern Dutchess County's #1 Ice Cream Man Retires

On September 4, 2024, fans and followers of 35 year ice cream truck Icee Adam received the news that he had retired, well, actually, that that the truck was retiring him. A statement on his official Facebook page read the following way:

After 35 years of being Icee Adam, Adam is retiring the truck (Adam says that the truck is retiring him) - today was his last day.

The post went on to talk about how much Adam thoroughly enjoyed working with the Hudson Valley communities and watching the children grow and having their children buy ice cream from the truck.

He loved being invited to birthday parties, graduation parties, and block parties and having the littles (and not so littles) come to the truck as his helpers. He loved going to the schools, daycares, and camps...he loved the smiles and the colorful tongues and faces.

Icee Adam also had a unique offering on his website, the ability to buy some of your ice cream truck favorite treats in bulk, and actually have them delivered to your home.
