If you've ever lost a pet, you know the feeling. The panic sets in almost immediately. You start checking every room, calling their name, driving around the neighborhood, and hoping they'll come running back home.

As a dog owner myself, stories like this always hit a little differently.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my dog, Smalls. He's more than just a pet...he's family. The thought of him being lost somewhere and not knowing if he's safe would absolutely kill me! I can honestly say there isn't much I wouldn't do to find him. I'd be driving every road, knocking on doors, posting on social media, hanging flyers, and doing everything possible until he was back home where he belongs.
