Fall is quickly approaching and local orchards are starting to welcome guests for their favorite activities like apple and pumpkin picking.

If you're looking for a pumpkin patch to visit this year, one in Ulster County was just made the list for the 10Best in the nation!

A Kerhonkson Farm Was Named 10Best in The U.S. for Fall Favorite

Over the last few years USA Today has released several versions of their "10Best" list of places across the United States.

Whether it be towns, stores, restaurants or Main Streets, USA Today has their editors and experts travel and rank their favorite location and then lets their readers decide which make the 10Best cut.

The most recent 10Best list that was published is just in time for fall: 10 Best Pumpkin Patches. USA Today explains these pumpkin patches were "nominated by an expert panel and voted as the best in the United States by our readers."

Out of the 10 picked, only 1 pumpkin patch that made the list is from New York... and it's our very own KELDER'S FARM in Kerhonkson.

They made the list at #9.

What did the experts have to say about Kelder's Farm? They write "Find your ideal pumpkin straight from the patch, then explore the farm's 35-plus attractions."

They go on to add all the amazing attractions to check out like the hayride, the barn yard animals (like their fluffy Highland cows and friendly goats), plus all the photo ops Kelder's has created across the farm.

How could they leave out the Kelder's Farm Gnomie Shake!? Either way, the title of Best Pumpkin Patch is well deserved at Kelder's Farm.

Kelder's Farm Announces Corn Maze Theme for 2025

For the last few years, Kelder's Farm has gone above and beyond when it comes to their corn maze.

This year, Kelder's Farm will celebrate the Future Farmers of America's 100th anniversary.
