Kingston Parks & Rec Launches Exciting 2025 Summer Swim Season

The City of Kingston Parks and Recreation has announced the 2025 season schedule for Kingston Point Beach and Andretta Pool , effective June 25th 28th.

While the schedules are listed here, and outlined below, those planning to visit should check the Andretta Pool and Kingston Point Beach Facebook page for updates in case of staffing and weather related changes.

Kingston Point Beach Season Begins June 25th

Kingston Point Beach will open for the 2025 season on Wednesday June 25th, and run through the summer Wednesday through Sunday, from 10am until 4:45pm, only when lifeguards are on duty.

It is important to note that going forward, there will be NO motorized boat launches from the ramp at Kingston Point Beach moving forward, due to the proximity to the swimming area.

Andretta Pool/Splash Pad Summer 2025 Hours

Opening for the season on June 28th, the Andretta Pool and splash pad has released their 2025 hours.

  • Monday and Tuesday - pool closed for summer camps.
  • Wednesday/Thursday:
    • 8am-10am lap swim
    • 10am-12pm youth swim lessons
    • 12:30pm-5:45pm open swim
  • Fridays open swim goes until 6:45pm
  • Saturday:
    • 10am-12pm lap swim
    • 12pm-6:45pm open swim
  • Sunday
    • 10am-12pm lap swim
    • 12pm-5:45pm open swim

Some important regulations to note regarding Andretta Pool:

  • All participants must be registered and obtain a pool user card
  • The pool user card must be brought with participants each time they want to use the pool
  • All swimmers must wear a proper bathing suit, no 'other clothing' is permitted in the pool
  • Youth, 13 and younger must be accompanied by an 18+ adult at all times
  • All youth under age 4 must wear a swim diaper
  • All pool guests must shower before entering pool or splash pad

The Trolley Museum of New York, located at the historic waterfront in Kingston, NY, is a very interesting transportation museum that should definitely be on your summer travel bucket list.
