Living Colour frontman Corey Glover has just announced a show at The Chance in Poughkeepsie. Don't miss him perform Living Colour classics along with some great solo material in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, August 25th. Hudson Valley musicians The Robert Cahill Band and Ian Flanigan are set to open up the show.

Glover, born in Brooklyn but now a Hudson Valley resident, is fresh off of his performance at Newburgh Illuminated in which he rocked out on the banks of the Hudson. He joined Living Colour in the late 80s and made a big splash with their debut album 'Vivid'. They won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance for 'Cult of Personality'. The band ended up going their separate ways in 1995 but got back together in the early 2000s and have been doing shows on and off since.

Released in 2012, Glover's last solo album was called The Pledge. Most recently he was seen playing with a new supergroup called Ultraphonix.

I had a chance to interview him a few years ago and found him to be a very interesting guy.
