Local Business Hosting St. Jude Celebration & Fundraiser This Saturday

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture & Mattress showroom in Poughkeepsie will be the site for a St. Jude Celebration, tomorrow, Saturday March 30th, from 11am until 2pm.

The event will raise money to help support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and will offer music, entertainment, raffles and refreshments, all for a great cause.

Students from Wappingers Central School District will be providing the entertainment, filling the Raymour and Flanigan showroom with music while prizes are raffled off.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, opened their doors in 1962.  They have treated children from all 50 states, and around the world, seeing about 7,500 patients annually. Their mission,

to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
