Mah Jongg Tournament Fundraiser to Be Held in Poughkeepsie
Think that you (or your Mom?) might be the champion MahJong player of the Hudson Valley? There is a local tournament and fundraiser being put on by the Friends of the Poughkeepsie Library on Saturday May 18, 2019 from 9:30am to 4:30pm at the Boardman Road Branch of the library.
Entrants will need to pay a fee of $40 per person, but that does include a continental breakfast, lunch, and tournament play. Want to get yourself some bonus raffle tickets? Then entrants who also bring a non-perishable food item for donation to Dutchess Outreach will receive one additional free raffle ticket.
Make sure you know the National Mah Jongg rules, because tournament play will by governed by this set of rules for the day. For more information, click here. Good Luck.
