Hudson Valley Lighting Group, located on Airport Drive in the Town of Wappinger, was recognized earlier this week by Town Supervisor, Richard L. Thurston as the town's Small Business of the Month.  In a post on the Town of Wappinger facebook page, Founder and Chairman of Hudson Valley Lighting, David Littman, met with Thurston and was recognized for the following:

a company which has made a $17million investment in Wappinger and serves customers around the globe from their new facility on Airport Drive in the Town of Wappinger. A former vacant space, Hudson Valley Lighting's new work space offers state-of-the-art space that will breed creativity and productivity, benefiting not only its customers but the entire community. Hudson Valley Lighting's investment in Town of Wappinger is bringing over 90 quality jobs to our community and attracting innovation to the county.

The company was originally based out of Newburgh, but moved to the Wappingers location in 2016.  They provide not only residential homes with lighting, but also large commercial spaces including some local restaurants [Heritage Food and Drink on Rt. 9 in Wappingers, or Hudson Taco on the Newburgh waterfront], and recently extended their business internationally.

A recent article on furnituretoday.com highlighted a showroom appearance scheduled for later this summer:

Las Vegas Market announced today that Hudson Valley Lighting Group will debut its first-ever West Coast showroom at Summer 2019 Las Vegas Market, running July 28 – Aug. 1, 2019. The 23,742-square-foot showroom on the fourth floor of Building C will include Hudson Valley Lighting, Mitzi by Hudson Valley Lighting, Troy Lighting and Corbett Lighting.
