There are scholarships for pretty much every possible distinguishing characteristic you can have in this world. At least it seems so. Right handed? Irritating to many? Have blue eyes? Know every 1990s sitcom theme song by heart? Congratulations, you're me. But you also can probably get scholarships!

You can also get them for writing essays about things like quitting smoking. I've looked at them. All sorts of organizations have money that they want to give you for some reason. If you're looking for higher education and know how to hustle a little bit, chances are you can find some financial assistance.

That being said, every once in a while I'll find that there there are still some that are surprising. Like this one, honoring and encouraging chastity in Africa.
