Metallica has been known to throw back some booze in their day. While reports are they've mellowed out a little (and gotten much healthier in general) over the past several years, their fans certainly love to buy a beer or two at shows. So why not brew one especially for them?

In commemoration of their performance at the brand new Centre Vidéotron arena in Quebec City, they teamed up with Budweiser (and Budweiser sister company Labatt) to brew up this limited edition beer. They had a gigantic tanker hanging out outside of the venue and, according to a release from the company:

During the concert, the sonic vibrations from Metallica's music will be infused into the liquid, creating the rock and roll recipe.

Oh, okay. Well that's gimmicky and absurd, but in any event, the beer will be canned and available on September 28th. If you're a die-hard Metallica fan, you're going to want to get on that Amtrak and get up to Canada soon though; they produced less than 100,000 cases of the stuff.
