Micah Juman’s Debut Single Will Take You on a Rollercoaster Ride
There seems to be very little that Micah Juman can't do. The guy can act, he knows martial arts, and now he is releasing his debut single "Rollercoaster." This all isn't to say any of this has been easy. In fact, much of it has taken extraneous amounts of hard work and perseverance, putting Micah on a rollercoaster of his very own.
Micah Juman was born in West Palm, Florida, but grew up and is based out of Latham, New York. I got the pleasure of first meeting Micah on the set of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin out around Saugerties, NY. At the time, we nerded out about the latest in Marvel and Star Wars. Since then, Micah has added a few new notches to his belt, including this single release, along with a couple upcoming films.
"Rollercoaster" Out Now
Micah says that "Rollercoaster" is a very personal song. Though writing the lyrics in one day, working out the song was a strenuous year-long process. "I had lost my dog, watched my family move across the country without me, sold my childhood home all while trying to record this song through multiple all nighters... I wanted to give up on it multiple times." Micah did not give up, and he pushed through to make this vision a reality. Besides drums, Micah played every instrument on the track. When asked what his biggest influences were, he said, "Punk Pop is my favorite genre and bands like Yellow Card, Blink-182, Green Day and All Time Low heavily influenced me." Micah is proud of completing "Rollercoaster" in spite of his setbacks, and is excited to finally share it.

Who is Micah Juman?
Even though this is Micah's first single, this is not his first introduction to music. In fact, he has 10 years worth of musical theater experience, and has sung tenor in a handful of choirs. The half Trinidadian (from Trinidad and Tobago on his dad's side) and half Scottish American (on his mom's side) singer is the oldest of four kids (shout out to Caleb, Noah and Haiely!).
Besides music, Micah also grew up studying martial arts. He is a black sash in Wushu King Fu and also has Jeetkunedo, Kali, and Wing Chun training. Micah trained under USA Wushu Olympic athlete Lucas Geller, along with his parents Steve and Sarah Juman.
Upcoming Films
Micah uses his love of martial arts to help better him in another passion of his: acting. Through this "rollercoaster" of a year, Micah signed on with his first talent agency. Micah feels very lucky and blessed to be working on two films that are soon to come out. The first of which he stars in is "Summer of the Wolf," which is about a boy going through changes as he runs away from a mysterious enemy. The second of which is "My Miracle Boy" about an extremely sheltered kid who learns there's more to the world than what he was told.
