Recently, Michigan repealed a series of dated laws, some of which make you wonder how they even got there in the first place.

I mean, there are plenty of laws and ideas that have to be put on the backburner or get dismissed entirely because the process of conceiving them, writing them, revising them, discussing them, and getting them voted upon is such a laborious endeavor that it can't possibly be expected that there will be any result any time soon.

And then there are these laws that make you scratch your head until you scratch right through your skull and into your brain, appropriately causing the type of damage required to think that some of these laws are worth the time and money spent to get them put on the books.
