After a four-year break, the New Pornographers are back. New tour, new album. Here is the info:The band announced a new album called "Brill Bruisers" this week, and have already shared the title track and lead single online. Their sixth studio album is due out August 26th, and will mark their first release since 2010's "Together." All of the usual New Pornographers contributors took part in the recording of "Brill Bruisers," including Neko Case, Dan Bejar, and A.C. Newman. Newman called the album a "celebration record," explaining that the music reflects the fact that he's at a place where nothing in his life is dragging him down. Newman and company will bring the good times on the road later this summer with a couple of festival dates ahead of a full North American tour starting September 6th in Detroit.
