The weather is getting warmer and that means that we'll be seeing more fleas. The good kind.

I have lived in New York for about 8 years now and I don't think I have ever met a New Yorker who didn't love going to a flea market. They are a great time and they really make a great activity for the whole family. If they are outdoors then you get some fresh air and some exercise as you walk through rows of tables. Maybe you'll find something cool for you to purchase and if you have kids a little bit of dough can go a long way for toys at flea markets.

Flea markets usually offer a variety of items that appeal to both collectors and casual shoppers. Maybe you have been after that toy you wanted for Christmas when you were 10 but never received.  Maybe you collect vinyl records or maybe you are looking for antique furniture. You may just find it at a local flea market and for a great price.

It's thrilling to find a good bargain.
