We all have those words that drive us absolutely crazy. This bar in New York has decided to take action and ban thste use of the word "literally"  from the premises.

I guess the freedom of speech doesn't apply in this New York City restaurant called The Continental.

A lot of bars have rules. Some rules are crazier than others. According to Food & Wine, The Continental has literally banned the word literally from their property. If you use the word a bouncer will then give you five minutes to vacate the area.

There's a sign that reads :

"Sorry but if you say the word literally inside the continental you have 5 minutes to finish your drink and then you must leave. This is the most overused, annoying word in the English language and we will not tolerate it. Stop Kardashianism Now!"

I'm a fan of this policy. What words would you like banned from bars here in the Hudson Valley? I could go without the word "curd" or "legitly". I'm sorry but "legitly" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Things can be legitimate, too legit to quit or legitimately. They can't be legitly. That's not a word.
