It’s Back! Free Summer Workouts For Hudson Valley Teens

Though it feels like 2023 just began a minute ago, the days and months are quickly passing us by, and before we know it, school in the Hudson Valley will be out for the summer. For some, this means figuring out summer camps, others summer jobs, vacation plans and so on, but what about taking care of ourselves this summer?

Back for 2023, a local fitness facility with several Hudson Valley locations has announced that they will be offering their High School Summer Pass, where teens aged 14-19 can work out, for free, all summer long.

Planet Fitness Brings Back High School Summer Pass For 2023

After what seemed like a successful run last year, Planet Fitness has once again announced their offer for teens between the ages of 14 and 19 to be able to work out in their facilities this summer at no cost. Inviting high schoolers to 'supercharge their summer,' registration is now open for the 2023 season, and beginning May 15th, those who have pre-registered will be able to visit their local facility.

It is important to know that the Summer Pass Program only entitles teens to visit at the club they select as their 'local club' - so the program does not enable unlimited access to any Planet Fitness location, just the one that the student registers for.

Planet Fitness Scholarship Opportunity & School Leaderboards

In addition to the free gym access all summer long, Planet Fitness reminds students that when they sign up for the program, they will be eligible to participate in a video contest for the chance to win a scholarship, and even a grant for their school.

All summer long, we’ll have a High School Summer Pass™ leaderboard keeping track of the number of sign ups from each school. At the end of the summer, the top 10 schools on the leaderboard will each receive a $10,000 grant*! The winners can use these grants for new athletic equipment, field renovations, physical fitness classes, and health and wellness classes. Invite your friends to join with you and track your school on the leaderboard!
