Calling all Peanutters, and no, you don't necessarily have to be nuts to take on this role, but the gig really does seem like it IS all that it's cracked up to be...

Planters Looking for Nutmobile Drivers

Imagine cruising across different cities in the United States in a 26-foot long peanut, and getting paid to do it! The Planters NUTmobile is looking for drivers, formally known as Peanutters, to join the team.

This once-in-a-lifetime job opportunity, 'chauffeuring MR. PEANUT from coast-to-coast in the iconic NUTmobile is actually a full time job.

Applications are open, and remain so through February 14, 2026, and not only require a formal application via the job posting, but also a video describing just why you'd make the perfect Peanutter to represent the brand.

Believe it or NUT, the very first variation of a NUTmobile debuted in 1935, and since, has gone from a peanut car, to a Hot Rod, to a whole fleet of vehicles to today's singular traveling NUTmobile.

What Exactly Does A Peanutter Do?

During their one-year appointment, a Peanutter will work to plan and execute more than 200 events per year promoting PLANTERS and the NUTmobile. The job itself isn't just driving around in a giant peanut (sorry), but rather require planning, market research, pitching, working with media outlets, social media engagement, administrative responsibilities and obviously serving as an ambassador and spokesperson for the brand.

The position obviously requires travel, the ability to collaborate, a driver's license, an 'appetite for adventure' and strong organization and management skills. Compensation is $45,000 annually (starting rate) and does come with benefits (medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, 401(k) and match, life insurance and PTO).

If you think this might be the next career move for you (or perhaps a nut in your life), learn more and read some first hand Peanutter testimonials here, or, if you're ready to GO NUTS, begin working on your application here.
