Police Investigate Wild Christmas Eve Brawl at New York Mall
Police continue to investigate a wild brawl that broke out Christmas Eve at the Grossgates Mall in the Albany suburb of Westmere. Guilderland police told WNYT that they're looking into what started the whole scuffle Tuesday night at the Beef Jerky Outlet at the mall.
In the video that has been shared on social media, you can see the out of control brawl start in the store and spill out into the mall. Tables are overturned and merchandise is destroyed, as a group of young people can be seen fighting in the store. No word yet at what exactly started the whole fiasco.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time there's been reports of violence at this particular mall in the Capitol region. A quick search on YouTube for "Crossgates Mall fight" brings back several videos from the past few years of violent encounters at the mall.
No arrests have been made as of yet in the Beef Jerky brawl.
