Popular Opus 40 Reopens With Reservation Only Visits

The unique Hudson Valley attraction OPUS 40 has reopened to the public but with safety protocols in place. The property features the world-famous 6.5-acre walkable structure, meadow, and more than 50 miles of walkable trails. The abandoned quarries were transformed over a number of years by self-taught sculptor Harvey Fite into the gorgeous structure it is today.

As a result of the pandemic, a number of events for this season have been canceled. But a silver lining in the form of OPUS 40 opening for reservation only visits.

Underway for members already and beginning Saturday, May 23 for the general public, people can visit the grounds from Thursday-Sunday from 11-3 PM in groups of five or fewer. You must book your visit ahead of time and groups may stay for a maximum of two hours. The visits are free for members and $11 for general admission. Tickets for senior citizens are just $8.
