Should Sizzler Return to Route 9?
This year Sizzler, the steakhouse and fast/casual family restaurant, turned 60. At one time there was a Sizzler located on Route 9 in Wappingers/Poughkeepsie. Where should Sizzler open a restaurant to come back to the Hudson Valley?
When going to the Sizzler.com website and the locator, the closest restaurant to the 12601 zip code is one in Florida. Not Florida, N.Y. but the State of Florida. Where in the Hudson Valley is a great place to have a Sizzler? How about the empty Golden Corral restaurant located on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie? Would you welcome a Sizzler back to the Hudson Valley?
Here is what the CEO of Sizzler Kerry Kramp, had to say about the restaurant celebrating 60 years, via press release:
