The 2018 WRRV Boo Ball was one for the record books, an amazing night of costumes and live music from Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness. The night began with a fired up set from Breaking Crazy dressed up as Gilligan's Island. Three's Company aka The Hype were up next and featured some special guests.

Anticipation build as Andrew took the stage around 9:30. He dug deep into his catalog all night and pulled out songs from his days with Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. But it was his material with his newest project 'In The Wilderness' that shined most. The 2014 self-titled release and 2017's Zombies on Broadway feature great songs like 'Cecelia and the Satelite' and 'Fire Escape' respectively. So keep your eyes out for the new album Upside Down Flowers coming November 16th with 'Ohio' and 'Teenage Rockstars' released so far. Be sure to check out the gallery below for some great photos of his performance including the incredible moment he crowd surfed into the audience in a large inflatable duck.

The costume contest came next and we had DNA's Junior and Zwade who got the dance party going. Congrats to our gremlin couple who were the crowd favorites to win the grand prize of $1,000! Special thanks to Pure Terror Scream Park in Monroe for all the creepy decorations that set the perfect Halloween vibe. Also thanks to our tarot card reader Meta Marcy who was in the house all night too.
