The popular Netflix show is becoming a reality game show and they're currently looking for 456 players. The amount of prize money the winner will receive is almost as crazy as the show itself.

Before September of 2021, there was one series that was synonymous with Netflix, and the show was Stranger Things. Stranger Things dominated Netflix ratings for 3 straight seasons. The newest season is always one of the most anticipated programs available on the streaming giant.

Then a bizarre and violent show from Korea called Squid Game came along and shocked everyone. The fictional series follows competitors who were talked into getting out of financial trouble by participating in a tournament of violent games. The show became one of the most popular shows on Netflix and ended up earning over $900 million dollars.

Squid Game is again on everyone's mind this week for two reasons. They just announced that season 2 is coming next year or in early 2024. They also dropped the news that the show is also getting a reality show spin-off.

It's called Squid Game: The Challenge and they claim they will have the largest reality cast in television history. Much like the show, 456 real people will play a game to win a cash prize of $4.56 million.

Not much information is known about the series yet and I doubt participants will learn much before going into the game.
