6 Marathons, 6 Continents, 12-Years-Old

A 12-year-old California girl is literally running around the world. Blanca Ramirez has run six marathons on six different continents, and she's about to tack on one more and set a world record. She'll compete this weekend in a marathon in Antarctica, which is a practically toasty 30 degrees in February, the continent's summer.
She says her most difficult marathon was in New Zealand because of the hilly terrain. Her next goal is to run a marathon in all 50 states. This gives you a new perspective on not wanting to even walk to the end of the driveway to take the trash out.
