A recent heart attack doesn't appear to have slowed down Kevin Smith at all. The writer/director/podcaster/stoner has been revealing events on his Facebook page in locations all around the country. Some of them are living tapings of his various podcasts like "Jay and Silent Bob Get Old" and "Hollywood Babble-On," others are just him talking geeky stuff, and now, he'll be stopping by New York for what has been dubbed "An Evening With Kevin Smith."

The event is described as a "chance to get up close and personal" with Kevin Smith. If it's anything like the "Evening With Kevin Smith" DVDs, it'll be a Q&A session between Smith and his fans. And he'll probably only get to, like, three questions, because once he starts talking he just doesn't stop.

I've been a longtime fan of Kevin Smith since I was a teenager - Clerks is one of my all-time favorite movies, and seeing him live is definitely an experience (I've seen him host a few panels at New York Comic Con, including his own Comic Book Men, and he's always a blast).

The show is on April 22nd at Caroline's on Broadway in New York City. Tickets are on sale right now. Snootchie Bootchies.
