Summer Block Party Fundraiser To Benefit Two Organizations
Every few months the graduating Bachelors class at the Culinary Institute of America holds a fundraiser. Most of them take place in the evening and have a theme, but ultimately the goal is for the students to do well on their senior project and to help raise money for an charity organization.
One of these Bachelor student run events will be taking place on the evening of Saturday June 18, 2016. The theme of this particular event is "Summer Block Party" and will begin with food, games, cocktails and live entertainment. There are two organizations that will be benefiting from the monies raised, The Hudson Valley House of Hope, which protects victims of domestic violence and the CIA's Side Towel Scholarship, which helps financially struggling students during tough fiscal times.
