Most college students are enjoying their spring break on a tropical beach somewhere but a few of our interns had to stay and work. We decided to take them on a little field trip. With so many of our college interns at popular spring break destinations like Cancun and Pamama City we were only left with two students from Suny New Paltz.

Going to college and getting a degree is a dream for many students and families here in the Hudson Valley. But with rising tuition costs, it can be a struggle for many.

Just in time for Presidents Day we may have found a lock of our founding father's hair. Could there really have been a lock of George Washington's hair at this upstate New York college for over 200 years? Though George Washington was from Virginia it's no secret that he has strong ties to New York. Could a book really have been holding a lock of his hair?

Every semester we get a fresh group of interns from local schools like Marist, SUNY New Paltz and even some of the community colleges. Though I appreciate there willingness to learn they are pretty green. They need a lot training and hand holding.

We've all had our Office Space moment, haven't we? Or at least you've wanted to. Brandi's on vacation all this week and I had to tackle the show and all the responsibilities that come with all by myself. Well, not exactly by himself. He's got a lot of interns from both Marist and Suny New Paltz helping out.

Grab the kegs and bring out the togas. Can partying in college lead you straight down the fast track to a career? College is a time of exploring ideas, expressions, knowledge and of course sometimes seeing just how much beer you can handle on a school night. No, I'm not condoning underage drinking and I never would but kids will be kids. I indulged in the party scene and I turned out just fine. The Hudson Valley is home to many colleges. Is partying good for you.
