After far too much time and effort, Taylor ended up winning the Fat Bear Week Poster Contest she entered in.

You might remember hearing Taylor from The Morning Grind talk about Fat Bear Week and the Fat Bear Week Poster Contest. Every year, Katmai National Park in Alaska holds a competition called Fat Bear Week. Fat Bear Week is a single-elimination bracket-style contest where people can vote on their favorite bear as it fattens up in preparation for hibernation. In preparation for Fat Bear Week, there was a campaign poster contest. This is where people have created posters to campaign for their favorite bear. Winners get a coffee mug. Here is Taylor's poster for a refresher:

This year's winner of Fat Bear Week was 747. The bear that Taylor campaigned for, 32 Chunk came in second place. But the real winner of Fat Bear Week was Taylor. Because Taylor is officially a winner of the Fat Bear Week Poster Contest. Well, she came in 9th place. But with a stunning 277 votes, Taylor became the official winner of the coffee mug. It's unclear how many winners they had, but at least the top 9 wins.

Last week, Taylor got the email of the lifetime announcing she won the poster contest. She was able to pick which bear she wanted on her coffee mug so of course, she picked 32 Chunk. Take a look at the pictures of the mug, it's so cute!

Now, what did we learn after all of this? With far too much time and energy, you too can come in 9th place and win a coffee mug. IN CHUNK WE TRUST.
