The Hudson Valley is reacting in two distinct ways to the news that the Odell Beckham era has ended for the New York Giants. NFL.com reports he has been traded to the Browns for a first and third-round draft pick along with strong safety Jabrill Peppers.

The first reaction: Good, he was a virus in the locker room.

The second reaction: NO! The Giants have just traded away any hope of competing.

The truth is, it'll be hard for the Giants to replace his talent. He has shown flashes of brilliance but he's not worth the headaches. This gives the team a chance to move forward and build a team around Saquan Barkley who tore it up in his rookie year. Although, the Giants will have to find some added production at wideout to balance the offense.

Could the Browns actually be good in 2019? Beckham will be paired with second-year QB Baker Mayfield and could end up being one of the most dynamic combos in the league. That would require Beckham to not be a head case and stay on the field.

What are your thoughts on the trade? Do you care? Personally, I'm ready for pitchers and catchers.
