The Killers Take ‘Caution’ All The Way To #1 On WRRV’s Buzzcuts
Weeknights at 8 PM WRRV counts down the most in-demand Alternative songs in the Hudson Valley. Here's a look at the top 5 songs for the week of May 17.
Tame Impala should be gearing up for a performance at Governor's Ball in NYC but the postponement leaves us crossing our fingers they'll be on the lineup when the popular festival returns to Randall's Island in 2021. Their new song 'Lost In Yesterday' pops its head back up on the Buzzcuts at number five.
Lovelytheband is back with their catchiest tune since 'Broken'. They recently joined us on Instagram Live and played a song for the WRRV listeners. And Nick and his kitty cat got to interview the band too. Thanks to all who joined in.
The new song from Twenty One Pilots is a fundraiser for out of work stagehands and roadcrew. Part of the proceeds for that along with a new sweatshirt available at their website will go towards the effort. 'Level of Concern' slides into number three this week.
Powfu came out of nowhere recently with the melancholy but catchy 'deathbed' where he raps about his impending demise. The only thing holding him back from number one is The Killers.
'Caution' from The Killers is one of their best songs in years and features former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsay Buckingham on guitar.
Enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend folks and thanks for supporting the WRRV Buzzcuts!
