The Most Ordered Takeout Food in New York State

Trust me, this is NOT what you will expect.

Here in the Hudson Valley, and New York State, and pretty much all of the North East, you can't go to restaurants right now because of COVID-19. But a lot of restaurants in our area have adapted and are offering take out and delivery. Uber Eats, a food delivery service, has provided data to The Daily Meal that shows what the most popular food takeout is in each state.

For New York State, I automatically assumed pizza was the most popular takeout item. There are pizzerias everywhere, even in upstate New York where the pizza sucks (I lived in Rochester for three years I'm allowed to say that). Seems plausible, right? WRONG.

According to The Daily Meal, the most popular food takeout in New York State is jerk chicken. What? Don't get me wrong, jerk chicken is incredible. But it is definitely not what I was expecting to be the most popular food takeout in the state.
