
The Pleasant Valley Library Needs Lego Builders
Are you a master builder? Can your imagination take 100 little bricks and turn them into a house, fortress or even some crazy spaceship? If so, the Pleasant Valley Library is looking for you.
It may surprise you that your local library has much more than just books. The library in Pleasant Valley keeps it fresh with new ways to bring the community together almost every week. Lego building has become so popular that there are huge clubs all over the country to honor the hobby.
If you're looking for something to do with your kids or maybe your just a big kid at heart this could be the perfect activity for you.
This Saturday, May 5 from 11AM-12:30PM, the Pleasant Valley Library invites you to make a themed Lego display. The program is open to children ages 6 and up. After the Lego creations are complete, they will be put on display at the library. Pleas register before hand at their calendar here.
This month's theme is very fitting. It's "Celebrate Mom!"
