These Jets Fans Are Fed Up & They’re Taking Action
Tired of watching their beloved football team continue to lose with no signs of getting any better, one group has taken matters into their own hands.
FireJohnIdzik.com is a website devoted to one major cause. You guessed it: saving endangered wildlife.
Just kidding, it's getting New York Jets GM John Idzik fired, but that just seemed too obvious.
So how are they doing that? Well, basically by stomping their feet as loudly as they can and shouting out why Idzik is inept:
Join other long suffering Jets fans in our quest to rid the organization of John Idzik. Our goal is to raise enough money to place a billboard in the vicinity of MetLife Stadium and let the Jets know that their most loyal fans are demanding change.
Show Woody that we paid our PSL's. We put up with the massive rip-off that is MetLife Stadium and the absurd price of tickets & concessions. But we will no longer put up with John Idzik running the show.
The billboard is expected to go up in late November and remain there until the beginning of 2015.
"We thought that it would take until the end of the season to raise the necessary fund. It took 5 days," the press release continued. "This is only the beginning. FireJohnIdzik.com and our supporters will not go quiet until our mission of removing John Idzik from this organization is complete. The longer he is employed, the louder we will get. The fans have spoken. Are you listening, Woody?"
Whatever it takes to fix this Three Stooges routine masquerading as a team, I guess.
