This Hudson Valley Train Gets Festive for The Holidays

Is it an express ride to the North Pole? Or maybe it's a train taking you to Hogwarts? Whatever it maybe, we're lucky enough to experience it here in the Hudson Valley.

According to HVMag.com the Catskill Mountain Railroad will be hosting themed ride this holiday season and we're not just talking about Christmas.

You can take a spooky ride on the Catskill Mountain Railroad's "Rails of Terror." Once you leave the Kingston terminal, you'll be facing some of your biggest fears as you explore local lore. This is your last weekend to ride aboard the Rails of Terror, with events running October 26th and October 27th at 6pm and 7:30pm.

If you're looking for some lighter fun, starting in November 16th and running until December 28th the Catskill Mountain Railroad becomes the family friendly Polar Express. Just like the movie, riders will receive hot coco, cookies and the first Christmas gift which is a silver bell.
