An underage house party in the Hudson Valley led to the homeowner’s 16-year-old daughter being arrested.

A Saturday night around 11:15 p.m., Ramapo Police received an anonymous complaint of underage drinking going on at a house party in the Village of Airmont.

Officers responded and say they observed around 30 guests all under the age of 21 at the residence. Police say an investigation concluded that at least 15 of the guests had consumed at least one alcoholic beverage.

Officials say the homeowners were not home at the time of the party. Their 16-year-old daughter was. She was arrested and charged with an alcoholic beverage control law violation. Police are not releasing the name.

Ramapo police would like to remind everyone that there is a zero tolerance when it comes to underage drinking.
