The Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (URGENT) and the Ellenville Police Department made an arrest of an Ellenville man for possession and drug sales.

URGENT has been investigating sales of narcotics in Ellenville since earlier this year and this weekend they made an arrest. Ellenville Police had executed a search warrant at 240 Canal Street and arrested Issac J. Pitt. Police say 194.9 grams of crack cocaine, over $6,000 in cash, two movie prop guns, drug scales and packaging material were collected during the search of Pitt's home.

Pitt was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal nuisance in the 1st degree, as well as the misdemeanor of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.

Ellenville Police and URGENT were assisted by the New York State Police Ellenville. Pitt was arraigned in the Town of Hurley Court. Pitt was also remanded without bail to the Ulster County jail.
