If you've always wanted to see what the inside of golf balls looks like, you're in luck. Golf Digest has a whole lot of balls and a saw.

I'll admit I'm a sucker for this sort of thing. There's nothing more interesting to me than the way things work and getting inside to see it.

What surprised me was the wide variety; the difference in color, substance, design of each one on the inside. Crazy. I also notice they didn't slice open a Titleist Pro V1. Must've been out of their budget.

And, look, I know this is super weird--and I'm not actually advocating this--but don't some of them look delicious? They zoom in on this perfectly flat cross-section of sherbet-colored interior and I just wanted to grab a spoon and eat it right out of the husk like an avocado. Obviously I have no intentions of doing this because A.) I'm not that insane, and B.) I'd probably get some kind of rubber toxicity poisoning.

Okay, the real reason is because I don't have one of those saws.
