We've been giving away a TON of concert tickets lately, I mean seriously, have you scrolled through the list of artists we are currently giving you the chance to see? This Saturday You Say?

Saturday May 21st, AJR will be taking the stage at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, yes, the venue that was the former home of the U.S. Open.  GAYLE, you know her from that insanely popular song called ABCDEFU that came out earlier this year, well she'll be opening up the show.  Oh, and there will be a special guest appearance by The Blue Man Group, too.

Give Us Your Best 'BANG!'

Here's the deal, I want to hook up some lucky WRRV listeners with tickets to the show on Saturday, but I'm going to make you do a little work.  I want you to give me your best 'BANG' - and by that, I mean we're going to do some AJR karaoke, well YOU are anyway.  So I need you to record yourself singing the AJR song BANG! and submit the audio recording to me through the WRRV app. I'll take a listen, pick a few of my favorites, and then hook you up with two tickets to Saturday's show.

Do You Need More Convincing?

I can't say enough great things about AJR.  I've been working in radio for just about 18 years, and because of that I've been to a ton of concerts.  I have to tell you, these guys know how to put on a show.  It's safe to say, after seeing them twice back in September, they rank in my top 5 of all time for best live shows.  Remember when they performed for us in 2018 at WRRV Sessions? Or that time they gave us a 30 minute virtual WRRV sessions during COVID (where my daughter got a shoutout but I did not, still not over that...).

So what do you say, want to check out AJR with us on Saturday?  I do have one spoiler alert though, my daughter and I will sing every.single.song at the top of our lungs, for the entire concert...hope you won't mind.
