We say that we're not supposed to be focused on materialistic things this time of the yea but we all are. We're human after all. Maybe we shouldn't set our sights to high.

A lot of us are going to be spending a lot of money this time of year. How much is too much spending.

I don't know about you but we are still three weeks away from Christmas and my credit cards smoking.

We're always quick to say that "it's the thought that counts" but is that really true? Don't we have certain expectations?

If you ask for a Macbook and you get a $50.00 gift card to Red Robin because it's your favorite place to eat is it the end of the world? Of course it isn't but you know that you had a certain level of expectations. You know you'll be a little disappointed.

I ask you, does the thought really count?

Why not? It should.
