Simon To Broadcast Live From Poughkeepsie Oktoberfest

Join Simon for a live broadcast from Germania of Poughkeepsie's Oktoberfest this Friday as they celebrate German heritage, culture and food. WRRV will be set up ahead of time getting everyone ready to open doors at 5pm.

Germania of Poughkeepsie is located on Old Degarmo Road in the Arlington section of Poughkeepsie. The event runs 5-10pm Friday, 11am-10pm Saturday and noon-5pm on Sunday. They're prepared for anything mother nature can throw at them as well. It's rain or shine under the big tents.

There will be all kinds of German bands, dancers and fun for the kids too. You should consider skipping dinner before coming by and enjoying all the delicious food on-site. Our friends from Dutchess Beer will be there making sure we don't run out all the great beers like Spaten.
