
10th Annual Clean Up Newburgh This Saturday
Earth Day Hudson Valley cleanups continue. Residents of the City of Newburgh are invited to join in, starting at Panja 15 Liberty St in Newburgh Saturday April 27, 2019 at 8:30am. At the starting location there will be coffee and donuts to kick things off.
According to the press release the goals of the clean up are:
- To remove garbage from the streets and empty lots
- To remove abandoned tires, furniture, mattresses, etc.
- To help educate and encourage residents to keep their community clean
In addition to the above activities there will also be a Recycled Art Contest at Safe Harbors of the Hudson and a party/bbq at the corner of Liberty and Broadway at the end of the clean up. The cleanup will take place rain or shine.
