Earth Day Hudson Valley cleanups continue. Residents of the City of Newburgh are invited to join in, starting at Panja 15 Liberty St in Newburgh Saturday April 27, 2019 at 8:30am. At the starting location there will be coffee and donuts to kick things off.

 

According to the press release the goals of the clean up are:

  • To remove garbage from the streets and empty lots
  • To remove abandoned tires, furniture, mattresses, etc.
  • To help educate and encourage residents to keep their community clean

In addition to the above activities there will also be a Recycled Art Contest at Safe Harbors of the Hudson and a party/bbq at the corner of Liberty and Broadway at the end of the clean up. The cleanup will take place rain or shine.
