Yet another Hudson Valley bank was robbed Tuesday morning, and the suspect is still on the run.

Police are investigating a robbery that took place at the Chase Bank on Route 211 in the Orange Plaza Tuesday morning around 10:00 a.m. A man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note saying he had a gun.

The teller gave the man an undetermined amount of money, and he fled on foot in a unknown direction. The bank is currently closed.

According to police, the man is described a white male in his late 20's, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black long-sleeve flannel shirt, khakis, sunglasses and a black baseball hat, reported by The Record.

Walkill police are working with other agencies to see if this robbery is related to the other bank robberies that have occurred in the Hudson Valley in recent weeks. Just last week the M&T Bank in Middletown was robbed by a man with a similar description.
