If you are single and you have a friend who is proficient in Microsoft Office, he or she may be your potential wing man in a strange singles event coming to New York.

It seems like we only need to know how to use three programs from Microsoft Office to function in the working world, Word and Excel and PowerPoint. We all know how useless Access is.

According to the New York Post, a new dating event will hit New York City and Boston that's designed for millennials called DateMyFriend.ppt.

In the event you'll be seated next to your friends while they give a three minute long PowerPoint presentation on why other single people in the room should date you. Is this the next big thing or is it a little creepy? It sounds a little uncomfortable to me. Anything has got to better than scrolling through Bumble and Tinder for the millionth time. It seems a little too formal for me.

Is this a way to show potential dates the very best things about you?

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in I hope you've got an outgoing friend who could do it for you.
