Prom It Forward: Mailed Donation Dress Reveal + New Drop-Off Locations

WRRV's Prom it Forward Dress Drive is in full swing for 2017. Prom it Forward was started in 2005 by former WRRV Morning Show Co-Host Sara (not to be confused with the current WRRV Mid-Day Host Sarah, they are two different amazing ladies) when it was brought to her attention that there were many young ladies in the Hudson Valley that could not afford to go to prom because of the ever increasing costs associated with it.

We have just added two new drop off locations and times:

• Sunday March 26, from Noon to 2PM at the Gold's Gym in LaGrange in conjunction with Cinderellas Closet
• Sunday April 2, from Noon to 2PM at the Newburgh Mall, Center Court

What kind of dresses are we looking for? Dresses that are in good or nearly new condition that a young lady might want to wear to her prom. This includes dresses that you might have purchase for your prom, a wedding or a formal event that you just know that you will not be wearing again, but that you want to go to someone who will love and appreciate your dress as much as you did. All sizes are also welcome.

You can also bring the dresses, during normal business hours to the South Orange YMCA in Monroe (Gilbert Ave) or to the WRRV Studios, 2 Pendell Rd in Pougkeepsie.
