CT Distillery Within Driving Distance Making Hemp Whiskey

Here is one that you might want to put on your radar, especially since it is just a 'short' drive from the Hudson Valley. The distillery is called SoNo1420 American Craft Distillers. It is located at 19 Day Street in South Norwalk, CT 06854. Their tasting hours are limited right now to Friday, 2-8 PM and Saturday and Sunday 12-6 PM.

What makes this distillery different from one you might find here in the Hudson Valley, like Hudson, Hillrock or Black Dirt? SoNo1420 is making their spirits (whiskey, vodka and gin) and including hemp seeds and hemp flowers in their mash bill.

How does this translate into the finished product? According to the distilleries website, "All Products contain less than 0.3% THC and are legal in all 50 States.".
