Just days after the first confirmed case of the Coronavirus in New York another has been confirmed. This time, the confirmed case is in Westchester County.
ABC7 NY is reporting that a man in his 50s is being "hospitalized with an underlying respiratory illness" and confirms the man has "tested positive for the novel coronavirus."
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says that this case of the Coronavirus is considered a "case of 'community spread' COVID-19, that you cannot trace back to China or foreign travel."
The man lives in Westchester with his family and works in New York City. The patient has not traveled to China recently, however, he was recently in Miami.
In addition to the Westchester man, Gov. Cuomo has reported that New York State is also testing two families in Buffalo, New York. The families have just traveled home from Italy and are being "tested and are quarantined."
