Let's face it, Flea Markets will always be hot. Where else can you find something that you might have been looking for or something that you never knew that you wanted, but upon seeing it HAVE TO HAVE it? Yep, a flea market. Where you can take that approach that the price is either negotiable or set in stone, but keep in mind, if you walk away, that treasure could be going home with someone else if you hesitate.

The following all have free admission and free parking. Just a note, it is a good idea to leave the pets at home, while some locations allow it, most do not.

  • Rinaldi’s Flea Market, Sundays, 8AM to 4PM through November, Dutchess Turnpike Poughkeepsie. Have something that you want to sell? They are always looking for vendors. Space rentals start at $10 for a 20x20 space. Food trucks are also welcome for $40 per space. For customers, admission is free, no pets allowed.
  • Stormville Airport Antique Show and Flea Market. These are not every weekend. You will have to wait for the next one which is May 28 & 29, 2016. (This is the one that you will likely see the crews for HGTV at. When they film the Flea Market Flip, they are here on Saturday and then take the projects to Brooklyn to sell on Sunday).
  • Beacon Flea Market, every Sunday, 8AM-3PM through November, Henry Street
  • Mower’s Flea Market, Woodstock, Saturday & Sunday 9AM to Dusk, starting on May 21, 2016. They are located one block from the Village Green on Maple Lane and behind Bread Alone (also open Columbus Day)
  • Middletown Indoor Flea Market, This is one of the few flea markets in the area that are open year round and this is because of their indoor location. Open every Saturday and Sunday 9AM-6PM, Dolson Avenue, Middletown. Look at their calendar of events for petting zoo and karaoke weekends.
