The Foo Fighters are on board to play a show completely orchestrated by fans without any input from the band members themselves.  Local Foo lovers in Richmond, Virginia started an online crowdfunding campaign back in March in hopes that Dave Grohl and company would take the stage in the city for the first time in 15 years.  They asked fans to buy tickets to the hypothetical concert, and hundreds of people did, raising more than 70-thousand dollars.  Two local companies even chipped in by buying five-thousand dollars worth of tickets that they plan to give away.  So with the gig essentially already sold out, the Foo Fighters responded with a Tweet on the band's official page that reads, "See ya soon...let's have a good time."
