How to Meet New People in the Hudson Valley
If you are thinking that you just don't have any friends and the online thing just isn't building friendships or relationships, there are a few things that you might want to give a try.
One is called MeetUp. This is a website (and app) that has people who are like minded, for instance, hikers, history buffs, knitters, comedy lovers, foodies, the list goes on and on of the active groups on the site. Each group has different membership requirements and events, but they will post what they have going on, if you want to go, you go. Maybe it might be easier to talk to people who have the same interests as you as opposed to just walking up to someone and randomly trying to break the ice.
Another place is Hudson Valley Pre-Dating. Yes, this is more for people looking for romantic relationships, but it will still give you an opportunity to meet people in person who are looking for the same thing that you are.
What ways do you try to make new friends or to just meet new people here in the Hudson Valley?
